PARTNERSHIPS
Partner Your Orphanage with Ek Qadam
You know your children far better than we ever could. We bring the teachers, funding and mentors that can carry a capable child from your orphanage to cadet college and through the years that follow.

WHAT THE PARTNERSHIP PROVIDES
What your children receive
Education, practical support and someone who stays

01
Preparation from experienced teachers
Intensive preparation for the cadet college entrance test

02
Fees and expenses covered
Ek Qadam covers approved education costs after admission

03
A mentor for every child
Someone who follows their progress and shares school breaks

04
Support that continues
A relationship designed to last through education and beyond

A SHARED RESPONSIBILITY
What we ask of a partner orphanage
We keep our requests simple
- Nominate children you believe are ready for cadet college
- Share the school records and background needed for a fair assessment
- Stay in touch with us about each student’s wellbeing
Until the Ek Qadam residence opens, some students may also return to your orphanage during school breaks. We will work with you to plan those visits alongside their mentors.
WHO CAN BE NOMINATED
Which children can be put forward
We look for children who have a good school record, show steady behaviour, and whose circumstances mean they would not otherwise have this opportunity. You know which of your children fit that description. Our team then assesses each nominated child before any place is offered.

HOW THE PARTNERSHIP WORKS
Five clear steps from first contact to
long-term support
Every orphanage partnership in Pakistan we enter follows the same five steps

01
Apply to partner
Fill in the partnership form on our Contact page with a few details about your orphanage and the children in your care

02
We get to know you
Our team contacts you to learn about your orphanage and explain the program in more detail

03
You nominate children
You put forward the children you believe are ready for the challenge of cadet college

04
Selection and preparation
We assess each nominated child, and those selected receive intensive preparation for the entrance test

05
Admission and ongoing support
Students who pass are admitted to cadet college. Ek Qadam covers their fees and expenses from then on, and each student is matched with a mentor

OUR FIRST PARTNERSHIP
Our first partnership opened a path to cadet college
Ek Qadam’s first group of students came to us through a partner orphanage. They prepared for the entrance test together, and those who passed are now studying at cadet college with all of their educational and related expenses covered. We would like your orphanage to be part of the next group.
Who decides which children join the program?
Your orphanage nominates the children. Ek Qadam then assesses each one, looking at their school record, behaviour and circumstances, before offering a place.
Does Ek Qadam stay involved after a child is admitted?
Yes. We pay each student’s fees and approved expenses for the rest of their education, and every student has a mentor who stays in touch with them through college and after it.
Where do the children live once they are admitted?
During term, students live at their cadet college. Until the Ek Qadam residence opens, a student may stay at their orphanage during school breaks when needed, and their mentor spends time with them during those breaks.
Does partnering cost the orphanage anything?
We will confirm the details of each partnership directly with your orphanage. Contact us and our team will talk you through the arrangement before any commitment is made.
How many children can our orphanage put forward?
The number depends on the places available in each intake. Our team will discuss this with you when we get in touch.
Still have a question? Our team will talk you through the partnership before any commitment is made.
